Ebrahim Karimi, Assistant Professor with the Department of Physics, Canada Research Chair (T2) in Structured Light and member of the CRPuO, is the 2020 recipient of the Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) Herzberg Medal.
This award, which recognizes outstanding achievement by an early-career Canadian physicist, was awarded to Prof. Karimi for “his innovative leadership in developing structured quantum waves for applications to quantum communication and computation, microscopy and materials science.” (CAP, 2020).
