CRPuO member, Benoît Lessard, renewed as Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Advanced Polymer Materials and Organic Electronics

Dr. Benoît Lessard

Dr. Benoît Lessard, Associate Professor with the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, cross-appointed to the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and member of the CRPuO, has been renewed as a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Advanced Polymer Materials and Organic Electronics.

“Professor Benoît Lessard’s research program explores the use of novel carbon-based semi-conductor and polymeric dielectric materials, in organic electronic prototype devices. He aims at developing inexpensive materials and manufacturing processes for application such as highly specific point-of-source cannabinoid sensors and bendable solar cells.” (Research - University of Ottawa, 2021).
