Dr. Robert Boyd has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for his work in the field of Industrial Science & Technology and his extraordinary achievements in advancing science.

A pioneer and world leader in photonics, nanophotonics and quantum optics, Dr. Boyd is a current member of the CRPuO and a Professor with the Department of Physics and School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as and Canada Excellence Research Chair in Quantum Nonlinear Optics
